The CFO's portfolio has more than 200 employees spread across core functional areas and is responsible for the university's budget and financial affairs, human resources, and is a key executive involved in the strategic leadership of the Temple Health Enterprise. The CFO leads a multi-department portfolio including the following core functional areas of the institution:
- Access Card ("OWLcard") and Diamond Dollars
- Budget and fiscal planning operations
- Bursar (including billing, loan services, payments, and tuition and fees)
- Controller operations (including accounts payable, general accounting and the finance competency center)
- Debt Management and Rating Agency Relations
- Digital Document Services
- Financial and Business Continuity Planning
- Human Resources (including employment, benefits, learning and development, labor relations, and payroll)
- Investment and Endowment Management
- Risk Management and Insurance
- Treasury and Banking
- Treasurer of the Temple University Japan Board
- Treasurer of the Temple University Law Foundation
